A number of minor changes were made that resulting in quite a different floor plan when you look at it closely.- The rammed earth walls were altered and different spaces were created by increasing and decreasing the thickness. The shower, toilet and kitchen were placed in cavities in the central core.
-Cavities were also created so minima could be followed more closely. The beds fold into a cavity to allow for a desk and the whole dining room table folds up into the wall. Therefore allowing a large open space.
- We felt that the single bedrooms needed to serve more than one purpose. So here is what we did. Turned the partition wall into something that can be opened up to make one large studio space.
- Storage was also included. Under the couch (or guest lounge as we like to call it) in the rammed earth walls, cupboards in the bedrooms, and storage under the steps.
WOW...
And we thought we had it perfect the first time!
Now after making these changes the LOVE for the design has increased even more!
